Moving On....

2012 is a year to embrace everything that moving on in 2011 has resulted in... To that end I will be leaving blogger and moving over to Wordpress, as it is more compatible with the layout of my new domain which will be live by the time I move....

So all my old posts have been transferred, and all new posts will be at this new address...it make take some tweaks to settle into a new home and getting it looking right.

But that is always the way with a big move, hopefully with some help inkomplete.com will also be up and running within the next two weeks. It will be tied in with the Blog, Face Book and Store... So keep an eye out...

Photo Challenged......

Back from the markets, with less junk and a fatter wallet.... Good day, lots of chats and people taking business cards to find out where I will be next....That's a good feeling....

The other time filler at the moment is a photo a day challenge I am doing with some friends. I have decided to use the iPhone for all the pictures and work in a similar pallet.... How anyone takes a bad photo with an iPhone is beyond me, but I see it all the time....

Today's Challenge was "My Sky" as it was a grey old day, I went this way...

I took this at the markets.... with what I had on hand, a sky and radio shaped like a car.... The day before was "Something I wore".....

.....For those that want to play along here is the list...

All Loaded Up...With a Tank Full of Gas....

The car is clean, gassed and packed.... I am winding down with a glass of wine and possibly the worst film ever made Jaws 3....Even the fact it was originally in 3D adds to its crappyness....Sorry went off on a tangent a bit there... Car loaded with the ever dwindling supply of stuff.... It is hard to get my head round at the moment how little there really is left. The storage shed is pretty much empty, the summer house in 90% empty boxes and most of the cupboards in the house are barely half full... So tomorrow I will set myself a goal of $500.... and hopefully come back with less than half the stuff I take.... Not to worried now as I know I will still need to come up here to do markets at least once a month till I get the other stuff established in Bathurst... But even that appears to be moving along quite well... amazing the contacts you make that have contacts somewhere else.... This just going with every opportunity thing seems to be working, I am dangerously close to deciding things with a twenty sided dice (I initially wrote a d20, but i was never really that nerdy)... Time to watch the giant rubber shark eat promiscuous teens...

All Loaded.... With Spocks coffin on the roof....

Hazy Shade of Winter.....

After a brief stint of warm summer weather, if you can call 4 days a stint, back to cold and grey again.... Maybe the dream of living in the UK should be tempered with the reality of what constant grey days can do to your mood? That said, that although my mood has been a bit up and down, like a whores knickers as my grandad would say..... My motivation has remained in the productive to bloody productive end of the scale.... Third visit to Bathurst in seven days, couple of jobs in between and still got some packing and new pictures started.... Sold some stuff that has been in my life for years, started to worry I was throwing the baby out with the backwater, or something to that effect, because I couldn't find something that made sense with bitch-water. I however don't miss any of it.... and it gets easier with each item....

I have even had time to join a few friends on a photo challenge this month.... Today was "Something that makes you smile." .... Many things are making me smile these days, but this cheap toy makes me smile every time I see it.... I see a rabbit but I think Hypno-Toad....

12 Days of Christmas...

The final of the twelve days is here....and some have been better than others.... But as a challenge it has really made me think, and I managed to come up with something for everyday, even though this has been a very busy few weeks.  So day 12 isn't complete but it is the start of how it will look in the final version....

The 12 Energizer Bunnies of the Apocalypse...

This is going to be the basic design that I will turn into a lino cut, that should make printing 12 of them more fun.

Looked at 4 houses today in Bathurst and put in applications on two.... I don't care which one of the two I get as long as a house and can start moving. One has an office, the other has a studio.... One has a chicken coop and one has a cubby house.... So I will let fate work it out.... as one should...

Too busy today to do anything fancy, so a vintage 1950's stamp and the phone bill.... I will come back to this one when I do the final 12 prints....

Busy day tomorrow too....Three sales, two pick ups, day 11 picture on top of all the regular stuff.... Speaking of pictures...

Bring on the Dancing Girls....

The 9th day of Xmas.....and Some things were sold, some things were tossed.... Off to Bathurst in the morning....Missing my kids something fierce today.... Other than a couple of weeks overseas this must be pretty much the longest time I have not seen them.... So the alarm is set for early, the insulated coffee cup is ready.... and I have some real estate agent friendly clothing on the door. Two appointments for sure tomorrow, and two others I will have to charm my way into.... Smiles, winks and says something clever... Or something like that....

The 9th Day of Xmas - Nine Ladies Dancing.....

(Hand Bags in the middle of a dance floor, this seems to be the most accurate way of counting dancing women)....

Two....Zero...One....Two....

Feeling suitably tired after an amazing night out.... When I was younger I could stay out drinking till dawn.... But now I can afford a flash hotel room next to a night club so I can take a break whenever the hell I feel like it.... Age, Guile and Money beat youthful stupidity every time....

Great night....Amazing food....Margarita's....and fancy champagne and  kisses and passionate embrace as the the new year was welcomed in with fireworks.... Feeling very damn positive about this year, not so much a resolution type of thing, just got a list of things that I want to do....Hong Kong, Tasmania and Brisbane.... Travel is making a big comeback this year... Somewhere else is the new black... and I need to claim back a few places... Work seems to be taking care of itself, well I just keep working and things keep falling into place.... The only real resolution I intend to make, and mainly because I have all ready be doing it, is to follow every opportunity through.... and with that I will finish the 12 days pictures, even though I am busy beyond belief....

Day Seven.....Seven Swans a Swimming....

Day Eight..... A device invented in the 1800's that would do the work of Eight Maids a Milking, but without all the dangers that come from having eight young women with skilled hands hanging about....
